Clair was a finalist in the Jane Austen Short Story Award and longlisted for the Comedy Women In Print Award. Her first job, among the archives of the British Library, fuelled a passion for social history. Since then, Clair has worked as a copywriter and editor on a range of projects in the heritage sector with clients including Ordnance Survey and ATS Heritage.
